Navigating Lunar Eclipses in 2025: The Shedding
Eclipses are one of the first things that really got me interested in deepening my studies into the world of astrology. I remember it was 2019 and I was finally starting to learn how to read a birth chart, understand how Karma was linked to the zodiac and digging into the heavier topics beyond sun sign astrology.
Learning that eclipses were powerful portals into the next iteration of life shook something within me. Here was this pivotal road map to understanding some of the most intense changes in life and no one had told me about it? Looking back I suppose I was a little too dumbfounded to be irritated that astrology wasn’t already a holistic practice ingrained into our society. Where were the elders teaching this wisdom to the teenager Vika who really needed this level of support through those years?
Those eclipses changed the trajectory of my life.
It’s been interesting to watch the media ramp up fear around eclipse dates and use them to push certain agendas like these articles the weather network was posting just last year. In 6 years of studying eclipses I've never seen the media do anything like this.
Eclipses are not harbingers of death.
They’re doorways into the new and out of the old.
Eclipses are portals of fate that happen a few times a year to shift the collective karma, and in turn, your personal karma.
And Lunar eclipses are closing portals and this one is a finalé.
Lunar Eclipses are for: releasing, shedding, detoxing, revealing shadows, seeing clearly what must go, fated goodbyes.
They bring about endings in a certain area of your life.
This is why it’s important to understand where you are being activated in your chart, exactly what I teach you inside of The Collective Karma Masterclass.
So, what’s your eclipse story?
The transformation that an eclipse brings into your life usually happens within 6 months of the eclipse, and you’ll feel the impact of this energy 6 months after the eclipse.
A story began back in September 18th 2024 when there was a Lunar Eclipse at 25º Pisces. You may have felt the shift around the house that rules Pisces in your chart long before that.
For example, I had already been moving through the health/chronic pain journey I am currently in before this moment and yet I can pin point August as the moment when my energy went in the toilet, I stopped being able to work to the level I was before that, and I was essentially sent to bed. This eclipse impacted my 6th house of preventative health and daily routines, and my 12th house of chronic health and spiritual insights - while activating my sun, aka my vital life force.
You will likely have a story of your own in regards to the houses that rule Pisces and Virgo in your chart.
BUT if you do not have placements in the mutable signs (Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, and Sagittarius) you may not have had a big impact with the start of these eclipses.
Your story might be more tied into the Aries x Libra axis we are just finalizing. (more on that later)
On March 13th/14th at 11:54 PM PT/ 2:52 AM ET The Total Lunar Eclipse Full Moon Virgo will peak at 23º, also referred to as a Blood Moon.

You’re not crazy, it's the eclipse season at work, which can feel exactly like that. It isn’t permanent though the changes in your life will be.
And remember - not everyone will experience the upheaval. Though collectively we will see radical shifts, big changes, and chaos externally. Your job is to move through your emotions, process the shadows exposed to you, and grow.
During this closing phase, you have the chance to release old patterns and beliefs that no longer serve you, and to embrace new beginnings with clarity and purpose.
Everyone is going to process these intense energies differently so if you're feeling angry, frustrated, tired, sick, fed up, elated, or in a whirlwind of emotion - you're not alone. Allow your personal process to unfold as it will and make sure to take care of your nervous system.
Whatever you need right now, I encourage you to take it.
This is a powerful astrological event that offers a unique opportunity for deep healing and transformation if you let it be.
And you get to be a part of the ripple that is healing the world through the tool of knowing and understanding why eclipses bring about such intense shifts.
This is where free will comes into play. I always want to bring you back into your body and into the knowing that you are the co-creator of your life.
You have free will.
You are not a slave or victim of the cosmos. You are a co-creator WITH the cosmos.
So yeah, wild shit can happen, but it's how you handle it that your free will comes into play.
Right now, expect the unexpected, and when it shows up meet it with love.
Feel your emotions, feel the deep rumbles of anger, frustration, sadness, and whatever else is coming up. Don't bypass your feelings. Feel them and then RESPOND rather than react. And if you react? Don’t judge yourself. Instead process the shadow.
You have plenty of time to reflect, feel, and experience this energy as all energies leave a ripple of their frequency. This means that it's not over yet.
In fact most astrologers would agree that 3 days before and after a moon the energy can still be felt. (Because sorry Saturn, but time isn't linear)
So take your time over the next few days to connect in, reflect, and tap into what you are being shown at this time.
Eclipses are wild cards played by the nodes of fate to usher you into your next level.
Your experience moving through them is entirely up to your ability to surrender and understand where you're being asked to release, shift, and change.

With the Full Moon happening in Virgo, a shedding is happening in the area of your life that rules perfectionism, control, service, hard work, and even your health. This is the cosmic clean up of the daily activities and choices you make and how they impact your health and therefore your ability to do your great work.
With the Sun and Saturn in Pisces there is a pressure to ground your visions into reality and get your head out of the clouds. You might be forced into seeing where your daily habits are deeply misaligned with your goals and dreams. These might have felt like shock shifts, and having to change your old ways with Uranus in Taurus activating these eclipse axis.
All the while with Neptune in Pisces at its final degree, things are still unclear. In fact you might not feel like you have any answers to this confusion until this Nodal Axis ends.
And like I mentioned earlier, you might not be activated by this eclipse in your chart at all and therefore you may just be swimming in the collective tides.
Pay attention to the house ruled by Virgo and Pisces in your chart, and any placements at 23º of the mutable signs.
