Full Moon Sagittarius 2024
The Full Moon Sagittarius falls at 2º on May 23rd at 6:53 AM pacific time.
When the moon is full the sun and the moon find themselves in direct opposition. I want you to imagine this for a moment. The sun sits right across the sky from the moon shining all of its light in the energy of Gemini on the moon moving through the sign of Sagittarius.
All of this blazing light from the sun in Gemini is blazing illumination with curiosity, data, facts, and a youthful inquisitive energy force onto the emotional force of the moon experiencing its subconscious depths in Sagittarius seeking wisdom, exploration and the ability to turn that left brain thinking into right brain belief systems.
The polarity between these two signs becomes clear in these moments and this full moon naturally invokes a sense of the emotional state of your own personal Sagittarius experience to the surface. The thing about Sagittarius is that being ruled by Jupiter it's always seeking more. More wisdom, more expansion, more, more, more. Jupiter is hungry for growth, morality, and to find something worthy of of believing in. And when emotions come into play this is where your inner hunger for freedom, growth and expansion comes to the surface. The balance comes when you can bring the cold hard facts and curiosity of Gemini into your life in order not to get stuck in Dogmatic thinking.
And let's remember that the full moon is FULL. Full of emotion, full of your intentions, full of your desires, and all that you've been harvesting. In fact right now IS the harvest before you clear the fields.

This moon is all about tapping into freedom, expansion, and your beliefs at this time. One of my favourite things about Sagittarius is that it truly is focused on truth and justice for the betterment of all. Sagittarius energy doesn't just go aimlessly on its quests - It's got a vision.
This energy goes on these quests in search of wisdom, truth, and the expansion of the mind in order to bring back that knowledge and integrate it into the collective. And how magickal is that? Sagittarius MUST be free to roam, because if it wasn't, it would not dive into the spiritual exploration of what exists beyond the self. Without this energy you would never grow. Without this energy you would stay down deep in the Scorpionic underworld in a constant state of transformation (and some of us just do that naturally!) But wherever Sagittarius rules in your chart is the area of your greatest expansion in your life. It's where you go BIG.
It's where you over indulge. It's where your wisdom is held and where you may find a wealth of desired growth. And it's where you may find your most coveted belief systems. It's also where you might get righteous, dogmatic, and think you know it all 😉 (Looking at my own Sagittarius Lilith getting direct impact today and 9th House Mars right now) So how can you harness the energy of this full moon Sagittarius in order to expand right now? This moon is impacted by Jupiter, Venus, and Pluto and loosely Uranus and Neptune, so it could feel really potent - depending on how it is impacting your chart.
